The Global Campus is an educational network for the creation of MODEL PEACE VILLAGES - a coordinated local response for global problems. These models serve as experimental grounds, places where the emerging paradigm of our times can be witnessed, researched and shaped – in all its complexity.
The Global Campus was initiated by a group of global activists and peace-workers that came together in Tamera in 2006. It is both an educational platform for best practices and solutions for humanities’ most urgent questions of survival, as well as a ‘community of communities’ - a global network united in dedication for global solidarity, mutual support and compassionate action.
