We will be speaking with Dr. Barbara Fields about Oneness and Infrastructure, specifically social infrastructure. This is a new model for leadership with a unique terminology: meta-civics (citizen visionaries in compassionate service). Barbara is the Executive Director of The Association for Global New Thought and cofounder of the Gandhi-King Season for Nonviolence.  She was the program director for the 1993 Parliament of the World's Religions centennial celebration in Chicago and cofounder and director to The Synthesis Dialogues I, II & III with His Holiness the Dalai Lama of Tibet. Barbara is a contributing author to The Community of Religions and Two Hundred Visionaries.

    If you missed yesterday's call with Steve Farrell and dear friend and partner of Humanity's Team, Barbara Marx Hubbard, you will definitely want to listen to their discussion.  They spoke about the Sphere of Infrastructure from Barbara's Wheel of Co-Creation and its counterpart Oneness in the 12 Spheres of Life. 

    Both Steve and Barbara gave concrete examples of how the social infrastructure is changing rapidly.  Steve brought up Humanity's Team Conscious Business Initiative and how the program is inspiring people from around the globe to be more aware and enlightened in the business world. 

    Then Barbara talked about a new social platform app called Amplifield.  Amplifield connects you with a global community of people who meditate and share intentions together.  Ironically Humanity's Team is using Amplifield for Global Oneness Day 2016 on October 24th for the first time.     Barbara also came up with an idea during the call.  The idea sprang from a question from a listener: Spiritually speaking, how do we in the U.S. and others around the world deal with the Donald Trump possibility?  Barbara answered that we need to focus on what is working in the world and spread those kinds of messages on twitter every day and use #whatisworking in your posts.  You'll hear all the details on the replay.

Currently she is a post-doctoral fellow in the Biotechnology and Society section at the Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands. Previously, Annick was a researcher at the Institute for Environmental Studies at the VU Univer­sity in Amsterdam. Until 2008 she worked for a Dutch environmental NGO. Her first appointment was as a researcher at the Centre for Environmental Sciences and Sustainable Development at Radboud University. She has also fulfilled several board functions, including at the NatureCollege, for which she is still active, and for the Dutch branch of the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN). Annick has published widely, ranging from popular columns and opinion-articles to academic research reports and articles in international journals such as Ecological Economics, Environmental Ethics, the Journal of Environmental Psychology, and Worldviews.
