I want to introduce Tom Atlee's Work here with his book 'The Tao of Democracy'.
For me the most important about the Tao of Democracy is:
There is a much higher intelligence to a group of people in the right mode of consciousness than what the individuals can ever reach independently.
The right mode would be: Intensely listening to others, be, speak and act from the most honest space within, welcome even dissonances, appreciate and encourage diversity (use everyone's faculties to the best possible ways), be aware of the mode of the group as a whole (interconnectedness, resonant intelligence, group consciousness), trust and actively service that (deliberation, cooperation, consensus finding and co-creation).
