Our doc film/book/screenplay project THE FIRST FIFTY YEARS: America's Forgotten Origin Story brings honor to both the Mayflower Pilgrims and the Pokanoket Wampanoag Indians they lived amongst. The extraordinary fifty-five years of inter-cultural peace and friendship exemplified the human potential at Plymouth Plantation, 1621-1675. This is where the first seeds of American democracy were sown. 2020, the 400th Anniversary of the landing of the Mayflower is six short years away and we feel it is important to correct the misunderstanding and misinformation that plagues this inspiring story. We have spent decades with visionary indigenous elders throughout the world and have been bringing the Native American/Indigenous way of knowing/cosmology into the mainstream for over 20 years by creating forums for these elders and others to share their understanding of the nature of the universe through books, films and photography exhibitions as a way to align with what we call "the conscious loving universe" and bring Peace on Earth.

We are completing over 15 years of discovery on the subjects of the Pilgrims and the Indians in Plymouth, Cape Cod, England and Holland and are bringing a unique perspective to The First Fifty Years.

We believe there is a core wound in the heart of America. America's Origin Story is shrouded in misinformation and misbelief, leading to anger, blame, shame and guilt. Consequently, this nation is morally paralyzed. America was founded by visionaries who articulated a vision for humanity in its freedom documents: The Mayflower Compact, The Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution. What is not known or understood is the role the Native Americans played in the evolution of democracy and the American mind and spirit (and what they have yet to bring to the table.)
America has yet to live up its promise.

Here are the highlights of the perspective we are bringing:

1. The spiritual alignment of the Mayflower Pilgrims and the Indians
2. The role of the Indian and Pilgrim in the evolution of democracy and the American mind and spirit
3. Correcting the misinformation and misconceptions concerning the Pilgrims and the Indians and America's origin story.
4. The inspiring story that sits at the founding of this nation - an exception to the human condition then and now.
5. Delineating the difference between the "Plymouth Paradigm" established in 1620 in Plymouth and the Puritan "City on the Hill" established with the founding of Boston in the 1630s.

We feel this is an important step on the high road to realizing the true American Dream: Freedom, Justice and Abundance for all. To get there, we must first understand the significance of the Pilgrim, the Indian and world-view that guided them.

As authors of "THE TRUST FREQUENCY: Ten Assumptions for a New Paradigm" and creators of the film "IN SEARCH OF THE FUTURE: What do the Wise Ones Know?"
(Click here to WATCH IT) we feel this coming together in Plymouth for 50 years was an extraordinary step in the evolution of consciousness and planted a seed that has yet to bear its true fruit. This project is a practical application of the concepts found in our book and film, using The First Fifty Years as a model for how we can apply inspiration and trust in our own lives today.
