As I watch the teenagers express their passion to change gun ordinance laws I am gratified. We showed them an example in the 60s, thru the 90s on the importance of civil disobedience for the right cause. These millenials are teaching us how to do it differently in the new age. A better way. Congratulations!
What impresses me most is that they went into planning their actions so quickly, and then into action after a breather. They had a cause: never again would there be gun violence in schools or public places. Because so many lives were lost that day, their cause has become a mission.
Look at the success they have already inspired as big stores change gun sales and other NRA discounts are closed down.
This is a watershed moment for all of us who believe in protesting as people power.
