I am looking for others who want to co-create new ways to be resonant activists in their communities.   For two years I have worked as a community organizer to oppose oil and gas development, specifically to ban fracking in Longmont, CO. This work has been important, but it has been done in a very contentious way with lots of burn-out all around.  I see that transformation toward sustainability crosses all segments of the Wheel of Co-creation and that it can only be successful when small groups seed the total shift that our culture is in the midst of.  This is not merely about gathering information and planning strategies.  It must instead be undertaken joyfully while tuning in deeply to one another and with help from the divine matrix.  Even though I don't know quite what this new activism would look like, I know it is possible.  I'd like to work with a small group of like-minded souls who yearn--as I do--for making real the vision Barbara Marx Hubbard has shared with us.  Is anyone else out there interested in exploring resonant activism (especially in relation to energy)?  If so, how do you suggest we proceed?

  • So are you talking about a small group living sustainably as an example? That we would gather and plan and actually live it? I and some others I know are interested in starting a community living in harmony with the earth and would love to combine with others who have inventive ways of doing this. • Beautiful Judith. You could make the "how do you suggest" a Forum Discussion so that the thread would be there for all to review at any time;-)
